Who We are

Our mission

Word of Life Honduras has the mission of evangelizing and discipling the youth of this country using different methods according to the Holy Scriptures with the goal of edifying and strengthening the church of Christ.

Our Vision

To be the best ministry partner for the local church in Honduras.

Our Purpose

Share a life-transforming message.

History

The story of Word of Life International started in 1940 with the founder of this ministry—Jack Wyrtzen. Since then, this organization has grown and now spans 80 countries, including Honduras. The ministry of WOL Honduras began in 1998 by David Bogran, and today is led by Samuel Sierra. In 1999, the first camp season was held, and in 2008 WOL Honduras was able to host the first camp at their new property in Zambrano.

The ministry focuses on evangelizing to the lost, working with Bible Clubs (youth groups), supporting the local churches, and training the next generation of leaders to reach the following generations. There are currently more than 20 WOL Bible Clubs in the country, and our prayer is that God continues to expand this work for His glory.

Team Values

01

A life of holiness

1 Peter 1:15-16 “but as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, since it is written, ‘You shall be holy, for I am holy.’”

The true Christian ideal is not to be happy but rather to be holy. (A.W. Tozer)

02

A Team spirit

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 “Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up!”

The harmony of a united team.

03

A complete surrender

Colossians 3:23 “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men”.

04

An excellence in Service

Romans 12:11: “Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord.”
